Frequently asked questions

What hosting does DriveMond need?

A fresh Ubuntu 22.04 LTS VPS with root SSH access. Shared hosting (cPanel) is not supported — the script requires custom packages and socket access for live tracking. We can provision DigitalOcean / Hetzner / AWS as a service.

Does DriveMond support surge pricing?

Yes — admin can set surge zones and time-windows manually, or enable demand-based auto-surge that increases the fare multiplier when active drivers fall below a threshold for active requests.

Can I add more vehicle categories than the default ones?

Yes. Categories are admin-managed — add Bike, Auto-rickshaw, Luxury Sedan, Mini-bus, anything your market needs. Each category gets its own base fare and per-km / per-min pricing.

How do drivers get paid?

Daily / weekly / on-demand payouts from the admin panel. Earnings are calculated automatically from completed trips minus commission. Stripe Connect / Razorpay Route can automate the actual bank transfer (customisation work).

Does the script support cash payments?

Yes — riders can pay in cash to the driver at trip end. The admin still records the trip, calculates commission and adjusts the driver's net payable.

Do customers see fare estimate before booking?

Yes — fare estimate is shown on the booking screen with min-max range. Final fare may vary based on actual route + wait time + surge at trip start.

Do I get the full source code?

Yes — Laravel admin, Flutter Rider and Driver apps and landing website land on a private GitHub repo.
